DC’s Furry Friends
Welcome to my website! This site was created out of the deepest love for animals and is dedicated to all of God’s precious creatures. You will find many ways to honor the animals in your life and help animals everywhere. Be sure to check out our pet photo gallery and upload a picture (with your parent’s permission of course) of your beloved pet!
There are many ways you can help the animals. You can donate directly to one of the animal organizations listed on this site, link to volunteer opportunities, check out pets available for adoption, and shop our pet store. A minimum of 10% of all proceeds generated from our store will be donated to one of the following animal charities:
If you have a favorite animal charity, please contact us. If the charity meets our guidelines (at least 75% of revenue directly to Programs, less than 25% for fundraising and accurate, detailed, and available financial reporting), we will add it to our list.

Good points raised here, (or rather, those bits I could easily read). I am afflicted with color blindness (protanopia to be precise). I mostly use Chrome browser (not sure if that is of any importance), and much of your web page is hard for me to read. I know that it is not your problem really, however it would be cool if you would bear in mind us color challenged types whilst carrying out your next webpage re-working.

A friend of mine has a website that is dedicated to educating the world about puppy mills. I viewed your site and appreciate what you are doing. Too many people don’t understand how very much animal cruelty is going on today. Thanks for helping the movement.

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.

Our German Shepherd was attacked by 2 Pit Bulls. She was rushed to the Vet and underwent hours of surgery. Several arteries were punctured but the Vet never gave up on her. She arrested during the night and thankfully the assistant was right there!!. She is home now and healing but the Vet said she would never be the same due to the lack of oxygen when she arrested. She never gave up and knew how much we needed her. The 1st 2 days she did seem to forget a few things like how to take her medicine without spitting it out (imagine that)and how to crawl under the covers on the bed. Imagine the bill on 4 hours of surgery with a full staff, round the clock care and an overnight stay. The vet hardly charged anything. When asked why he said “my heart said I needed to do this for this wonderful pet who I can see is loved so much”.
